We are sure that once you have compared our services to other DJ companies, you will understand why Good Vibrations is chosen by hundreds of brides and grooms each year.

Once you have decided to use Good Vibrations, please call us to confirm your date. We will then send you our "Professional DJ service contract". When you receive the contract, please take the following steps:

  • Before The Contract Due Date: Sign and return the “Professional DJ Service Contract” along with the 50% deposit to book. We accept checks payable to Good Vibrations DJs or all major credit cards.
  • Four to Six Weeks Prior to Your Wedding: Fill out the Wedding Coordination Worksheet and return it to our office by fax or email. For your music requests, use our Sample Music List as a reference. Please note: we carry over 50.000 song titles to choose from and you are welcome to put together a CD with your other specific songs (popular for multicultural weddings).
  • One Week Prior to Your Wedding: Expect a call from Good Vibrations the week of your Reception. The Event Coordinator will confirm the music you have requested, the order of events (you are welcome to give us your timeline), and name pronunciation of your Wedding Party. If you will not be available the week of your Wedding, please call and we will make the necessary arrangements for an alternative time.

Rehearsal DinnerClose family and friends prepare for the event

An event that brings all your close friends and family together prior to the Big day. You can toast to them all, say your thanks, enjoy having time for everyone. Our suggestion for music besides having a DJ is to use a mini sound system with microphone for speeches. We can plug our CD player or your own iPod to it and you can just enjoy the dinner.

Very popular these days area video or picture slide shows of your childhood pictures as well as those that represent your life with your future husband / wife. ..

Ceremonythe vows of marriage

Here you are all dressed and ready to start a new life together with your beloved one. And Good Vibrations DJs is here with you. We can supply a professional sound system and a wireless lavaliere microphone for the minister, as well as any additional mic's for readers or singers.

The DJ is ready to play music of your choice from about 30 minutes prior to your ceremony start time. Then your processional selections for the bridal party and bridal entrance. We adjust the volume on the microphones during the ceremony so the minister's mic picks up you exchanging the vows, and then we conclude with recessional music.

GV TIP: Consider using a sound system with microphones if your ceremony is taking place outdoor, if you have more then 30 guests, or anywhere some noise could occur.

If you have life musicians for the ceremony music make sure you hear them play in advance to make sure they are the right and professional choice. We can still supply you with the microphones and technician or DJ on site.

COCKTAIL HOUR
Usually right after the ceremony a cocktail hour takes place nearby. While you are taking pictures, your guests enjoy hors d'oeuvres and some drinks prior to your great arrival to the reception place. Our DJ can play music (again all customized to your choices) during this time as well. Please understand that if this is at a different location than the ceremony and reception, it will most likely require another sound system.

ReceptionPost wedding ceremony party

It is time to celebrate! You have done the official part, now let's have fun. Reception usually starts with the grand entrance - use our Coordination Worksheet so we know how to announce you and perhaps your bridal party.

According to your timeline and wishes we will customize the reception events and music. First dance, father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss to a certain song? No problem. All can be to your special song and the DJ can announce any reasoning behind it.
